Once again, the award-winning Japanese sports anime series, “Yuri!!! On Ice” (YOI), has conquered the world. But, this time, it’s in the anime merchandise market.

A recent report from Anime News Network indicated that a slew of products inspired by “Yuri!!! On Ice” series are on display at the on-going “Ice Castle Hasetsu Branch Office in Shinjuku Marui Annex” event in Tokyo, Japan. The merchandise exhibit is at the Shinjuku Marui Annex department store. The said event started on March 1, and it will end on March 26.

The types of products showcasing the figure-skating series include mugs, ceramic coasters, acrylic stand key holders, acrylic badges, kanzashi hair ornaments, hair accessories, and bracelets. Yuri Katsuki, Victor Nikiforov, and Yuri Plisetsky are among the characters that are featured in the merchandise.

Meanwhile, M’s Factory unveiled (via Twitter) their new collection of mattress covers with prints of the “Yuri!!! On Ice’s” main characters.

Marimo Craft Co. Ltd. is also joining in the production of “YOI”-inspired merchandise. Specializing in men’s and boys’ apparel and furnishings, Marimo has designed brand-new cushions displaying the faces of the fans’ favorite characters.

Also, Super Groupies, an online retail store, released their new line of “Yuri!!! On Ice” handbags, shoes, and accessories with Yuri and Victor designs.

Speaking of the upcoming season of the sports-themed anime series, Mobi Picker reported that Mitsuro Kubo, the original show creator, is now working on the storyline. The female anime writer is looking to finish the second season in 2017. Following this development, avid fans are expecting to see the series before the year ends.

Based on the report, Kubo appeared at the “Yuri!!! On Ice” talk show and all-night screening event recently. She revealed that she already gathered some ideas for the next season. New visual arts of the highly-acclaimed series were released during the event, featuring nine figure skaters and the three main characters.
