October has been a great month for tech fans as several companies released brand-new smartphones offering a wide range of specs and features to choose from. Among those who unveiled new phones are Google and Xiaomi, with the former introducing its new Pixel phones, while Xiaomi wowed tech watchers with its latest handset, the Mi Note 2.

The Pixel is Google’s new flagship which boasts one-of-a-kind features including Daydream VR support, Google Assistant, and rich camera capability. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a supersized, dual curved edge design and premium specs, which makes it a contender as it competes with other top-branded phones in the market. The Mi Note 2 has a glass body with aluminum accents and measures 6.15 x 3.04 x 0.30 inches and weighs 5.86 ounces. It comes in two color options Piano Black and Glacier Silver.

The Google Pixel is made of polished aluminum with glass at the upper part of the phone’s rear. The device has a touch-type fingerprint reader called the Pixel Imprint for added security.
