The upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship smartphone was once again a hot topic in the rumor mill, as a new leak about the device recently surfaced, this time showing an alleged live image of the device in white color.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship was confirmed by the company’s executives as an existing device, and users are now expecting it to be launched and released in the following months. However, as near as the launch and release date may be, tipsters cannot be stopped from leaking content pertaining to the upcoming device. This time, Times News UK reported that a user from Chinese social networking site Weibo posted what is said to be a live image of the upcoming Mi 5 flagship.
A leaked alleged live image was previously released online, showing what is said to be the Mi 5 in black color. This time, the new leaked image showed a white device. The device seemed to be a genuine Xiaomi Mi smartphone, as it sported the iconic Mi logo on its top left corner.
The look of the new leaked device also went in line with what the other previous leaked renders and alleged live images showed in the past.
As of the moment, Xiaomi confirmed that the upcoming Mi 5 flagship will indeed be coming with the new QUALCOMM Snapdragon 820 chipset. Some of the rumored specs of the device include a 5.2-inch display with a Quad HD resolution, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB worth of built-in internal storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched sometime after the Chinese Spring festival, which falls on Feb. 8.
