The Xiaomi Mi 5 is getting closer and closer to its long awaited and highly anticipated launch date. But still, the upcoming device remains to be one of the hottest items in the rumor mill. Now, an image showing what is allegedly the box design of the upcoming flagship phone from the Chinese tech company may have very well revealed the official physical design of the device, as well as the colors that it will be released on.
As revealed through a report by Dutch mobile industry tipster NoWhereElse, a device box design of what is said to be that of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship smartphone showed a possible official first look on the device’s design and its available selling colors.
In the leaked images shown, the Xiaomi Mi 5 can be seen as available in four different colorsgold, pink, and the standard white and black. As for the device’s design, the leaked images revealed that the Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature what looked like a metal unibody design with a smooth and shiny metal farming and curved edges. The back panel is said to be a glass one.
The iconic Mi logo can be found on the upper right corner of the device just above the display. Also, the physical home screen button is said to be where the “world’s fastest” fingerprint sensor technology is embedded.
Additionally, Xiaomi is rumored to be bringing their new Mi 5 flagship device to the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which will take place in late February. The device is confirmed to be possibly be available at Qualcomm’s booth.
The device had been confirmed to be running under the new Snapdragon 820 chipset. Other rumored specs include a 5.2-inch display with quad HD resolution, 4 GB of RAM, and Android Marshmallow 6.0 out of the box.
