Xbox Gold members will get to enjoy a fresh selection of free games this week. This comes on the tail of Microsoft’s announcement of the Games With Gold list for July.
According to a report from Gamespot, Xbox One owners get “Grow Up,” which is Ubisoft’s take on a quirky platformer. Another offering is “Runbow” from 13AM Games, which is a platform racing game that was originally released in 2015.
For Xbox 360, owners of the console will get to play “Lego: Pirates of the Carribean” and “Kane and Lynch 2.” The two games come in free via the Xbox backward compatibility program.
Meanwhile, Xbox Live Director of Programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb posted on his blog site the Deals With Gold that also become available this week. Nelson confirmed that add-ons for “Dead or Alive 5 Last Round” will go on sale this week for Xbox One. On top of that, the Phase 4 character will also be up for grabs this week for free.
Other Xbox One deals include discounts for “2Dark,” “Castle Invasion: Throne Out,” “Crypt of the Serpent King,” and Diablo III: Eternal Collection.” Furthermore, rates are also lowered for other titles like “I, Zombie,” “Overcooked,” “Rock ‘N Racing Bundle,” Momonga Pinball Adventures,” and “Seasons After Fall.”
Other Xbox One deals include “Styx: Shards of Darkness” for $33.50, “Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter” for $27.50, and a “Forza Horizon 3” VIP membership for only $5. For the Xbox 360 deals, there are “The Escapists” for $5; and “Alien Breed Episode 1,” “Alien Breed 2: Assault,” and “Alien Breed 3: Descent,” which are all available for $1.24.

In other Xbox news, gamers and enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the availability of the Xbox One X. Formerly called the Xbox Project Scorpio, the product is said to be “the most powerful console ever,” according to Microsoft.
It features a six Teraflop GPU that clocks at 1.172 Ghz, and 12 GB GDDR5 memory. It also comes with a whopping 326 GB of memory bandwidth and a remarkable true 4K resolution, among other features.
