Unlike Sony with their PlayStation Plus service, Microsoft tends to inform their Xbox One Games with Gold subscribers what they are getting the following month ahead of time. So, it may only be a matter of time before they make the official announcement. Microsoft’s Larry Hryb, a.k.a. Major Nelson, should have an update soon on his website.
Right now, the company has not made an announcement yet, but sources believe next month’s roster may include “Sniper Elite III,” “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist,” and “Battlefield: Bad Company.”
“Sniper Elite III” is a third-person shooter game with elements of stealth. Armed with a sniper rifle, players get to step into the shoes of American Office of Strategic Services agent Karl Fairburne as he participates in the North African conflict during World War II.
“Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist” is the sixth game in the “Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell” series, and like its predecessors, it is an action-adventure stealth game. In the game, players get to control a spymaster named Sam Fisher as he looks for ways to stop a terrorist group. The game is in third-person perspective.
“Battlefield: Bad Company” is a first-person shooter set in a future where the United States and Russia are at war in the fictional country of Serdaristan. Players get to play as Preston Marlowe, a private who was transferred to a four-man team dubbed “Bad Company.”
Reports say “Dead Rising 3” may be part of the list as well. “Dead Rising 3” is a beat em’ up game set in an open world, and players get to bash zombies in the head while they search for supplies and complete missions.
However, readers are advised to take everything with a grain of salt because Microsoft has yet to announce the roster for this month’s Xbox Live Games with Gold free games.
