Xbox Games with Gold July 2015: Xbox Live Gold celebrates 2nd anniversary, offers Assassin's Creed IV and So Many Me for free download in July

Xbox Live Gold subscribers have a reason to celebrate the service’s second anniversary, because Microsoft is giving away free games to celebrate the milestone.

Beginning in July, Ecumenical News reported, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download four games for free starting July.

“This July represents two full years since we began giving Xbox Live Gold members access to amazing games to play with your friends. As a special thank you to our members and all Xbox fans, we’re announcing that starting in July; Gold members get more with two new Games with Gold every month on Xbox One!” Ecumenical News quoted Will Tuttle, Xbox Wire’s editor-in-chief, as saying.

Tuttle went on to elaborate that the four games will be comprised of two Xbox 360 and two Xbox One games, and will be available for download “for a full month.”

Gamers will be able to download a new game every 1st and 16th of the month, Tuttle added.

The selection will definitely impress and get gamers downloading in no time, as Tech Times revealed that July’s selection will be made up by Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and So Many Me for the Xbox One, and Plants vs. Zombies and Gears of War 3 for the Xbox 360.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is now available for download until the end of the month, the news website said, while So Many Me will be available beginning on the 16th until August 15.

Plants vs. Zombies is currently available for download until July 15, after which Gears of War 3 will be available from July 16 until the end of this month.

Xbox Live Gold is a membership-based program for Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers. According to the program’s official website, members enjoy the perks of getting one free title for download per month as well as exclusive discounts of up to 75% off games in the Xbox Store.
