There is good news for gamers who are part of Xbox Live’s Games with Gold program. As one of the perks of their premium membership, subscribers have not been given free access to the list of games made available this month.
Microsoft has released a promotional video which announced the list of games that would be available to download for Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
Aside from June’s list of new games, “Costume Quest 2” which was part of last May’s lineup is still being offered. Xbox One users should download the game immediately as it will only be available until June 15. The game’s protagonists are Ween and Reynold and their objective is to wipe out the monsters that are haunting people during Halloween. Furthermore, it is an action role playing game and the developer of the game is Double Fine Productions.
The first game that will be featured this month appears to be an unusual choice since the player will take on the role of a goat in “Goat Simulator.” The game, created back in 2014 by Coffee Stain Studios, allowed players to control a goat via a third person perspective. The mission of the goat is to create destruction in order to get higher points in the game. “Goat Simulator” will be available for the entire month of June.
Racing car game “The Crew” is also offered for free this month for the Xbox One. The online game, created by Ubisoft, allows players to race across the United States with other players. “The Crew” will be released next week (June 16) and will be available until July 15.
Games made available for the Xbox 360 console “Super Meat Boy” and “XCOM: Enemy Unknown.” Xbox One players also gain free access to these Xbox 360 titles via the Backward Compatibility feature.
