Vivo recently released their newest flagship devicethe Vivo X6 smartphone. Along with the standard variant of the new flagship, Vivo also launched the bigger and more powerful variantthe X6 Plus.
The X6 Plus sports a bigger Super AMOLED display at 5.7 inches with 1080p Full HD resolution and pixel density rate of 386 ppi. The device measures 158.4 mm tall, 80 mm wide, and 6.99 mm thin. The device weighs 171 grams.
Moreover, the new Vivo X6 Plus flagship is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 with an octa-core Cortex A53 CPU clocking in at 1.7GHz. It comes with a dual-core Mali T76- GPU for better graphics performance, video playback, and gaming. The smartphone also has a massive amount of RAM at 4GB along with 64GB built-in internal storage capacity. While the device does not have a dedicated microSD slot, it still supports external microSD expansion via the use of the SIM 2 slot.
As for the camera, the X6 Plus smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel main rear facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture, phase detection auto focus, and LED flash features. It comes coupled with an 8-megapixel front facing snapper. Both sensors launch at only 0.6 seconds and an initial lens focus span time of 0.2 seconds.
Additional features of the X6 Plus include a fingerprint scanner that can be found at the back panel of the device just below the LED flash of the rear camera. The fingerprint scanner has a fast response time as wellusers can unlock the phone via biometrics reading for a mere 0.4 seconds upon touch. The device also uses a Yamaha Hi-Fi audio chip and a dedicated amplifier for better audio quality.
The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and boots on Android Lollipop 5.1, with Funtouch OS on top of it.
The Vivo X6 Plus will be available along with the X6 starting Dec. 7 and will sell for a price of 3,200 Yuan or $500. A China Unicom version for 3,000 Yuan only will be released as well.
