Director Michael Bay never fails to impress when it comes to one of his most successful action franchises to date, “Transformers.” In the latest upcoming flick, “Transformers: The Last Knight,” moviegoers expect more action and explosions as production gets underway.
Although the film isn’t due until next year, Bay and distributor Paramount Pictures have been quite busy hyping it up, with the latest behind-the-scenes video posted by the director himself over the “Transformers” official Facebook page. See the video below:

Per Entertainment Weekly, the fifth installment in the live-action film series is once again highlighted by huge explosions, flying vehicles and debris, and stunts that only a few could equal. But this time, the clip shows that Bay could do more than what he previously did in the first four films.
Before this clip, producers of the film also provided a teaser in the form of a cryptic image of a torn government file on Twitter, which Bay later confirmed by saying that Megatron, the leader of the bad bunch of robots called Decepticons, is going to make a return in “Transformers: The Last Knight.”
Even though no further information is given as to the upcoming film’s plot or storyline, the sure thing is Mark Wahlberg will be returning to reprise his role as Cade Yeager, while Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, and Tyrese Gibson lead the supporting cast. Per Gamespot, Bay also confirmed the entry of a new robot, Squeeks, who actually is one of the good guys from the Autobots. There also will be a redesigned Bumblebee and Barricade, both of which are going to make an appearance in the film.
“Transformers: The Last Knight” is scheduled for a big screen premiere on June 23, 2017. It will reportedly be Bay’s last stint as director of the franchise. Earlier reports also say that the two other films, one of which is a spin-off and will feature Bumblebee, will be released in 2018 and 2019, respectively.
