Michael Bay’s upcoming science fiction-action film, “Transformers: The Last Knight” is in the middle of filming and with work continuing even on weekends, there’s no letup for the entire production crew as the fifth installment in the “Transformers” live-action series hopes to emulate the box office success of previous films. This time, several images have been leaked online, including that of the rejigged Bumblebee.

Comingsoon first posted the photos, while also confirming earlier rumors that several robots, both heroes and villains, will be making a return to another blockbuster in the making for Paramount Pictures. So far, the list of those already mentioned to make an appearance include the Autobots’ Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Hot Rod, Drift, Sqweeks and Crosshairs. Meanwhile, the Decepticons will be bannered by the return of Megatron and Barricade, while a very scary newcomer named Onslaught will likewise be wreaking havoc.

Screenrant mentioned that although there were no actors in the newest photos from the set, they still provided a lot of clues as to where this upcoming film is going. For one, the showcase of several new vehicles suggests that it could very well be a full-packed reunion of some sort both for the Autobots and Decepticons.

Bay will be returning as director for the film, while a bunch of premium Hollywood writers are on board to help with the storyline, including Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (“Iron Man”) and Ken Nolan (“Black Hawk Down”).

As for the upcoming film’s cast, Mark Wahlberg will be reprising his character, Cade Yeager, while a couple of other stars will also be returning after their respective stints in the previous installments Josh Duhamel as Lieutenant colonel William Lennox and Tyrese Gibson as Robert Epps. “100 Things to do Before High School” star Isabela Moner will be the film’s new female lead, in which she’ll play as Izabella.

“Transformers: The Last Knight” is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 23, 2017.
