'Tom Clancy's The Division' news: Ubisoft rolls out new inventory and missions for beta test players

As previously reported, Ubisoft has rolled out an open beta for “Tom Clancy’s The Division” which will mark the last dry run for the game before it finally drops next month. While the event only lasted for a couple of days, Ubisoft is reportedly responding well to all the comments and suggestions that they have gotten so far.

On top of addressing which parts of the game need a little bit more tweaking and improvement, the French multinational video game developer is also reportedly offering special bonuses and unique missions to all players.

After “The Division” open beta went on a maintenance shut down last night, the video game came back online with new features and a few extra items in the available inventory. As a reward for everyone who helped the massive wipe out of “The Cleaners,” Ubisoft has given everyone what they call a “fire kit” which consists of three explosive bullets, three frag grenades, and three incendiary bullets which are all available for use anytime. “The Cleaners” are one of the three enemy factions in the game. They are consisted as a faction of misguided citizens that aim to burn the city down to the ground to be able to eradicate the epidemic.

On top of that, they have also given players a new mission in the beta run and that is to kill as many named Elite Cleaners in the Dark Zone as possible. Given this new assignment, players can expect a tougher battle from “The Cleaners,” as they are now seen roaming around the city in groups.

“Tom Clancy’s The Division” will fully drop on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on March 8 until then, it is still up in the air whether it translates to actual success. But if the massive audience who participated in the beta test run is any indication, it is safe to say that that it is on the right path.
