'Thor: Ragnarok' cast news, spoilers: Jaimie Alexander doesn't know if she will be in third 'Thor' film

“Blindspot” actress Jaimie Alexander, who has appeared as Sif, one of Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) Asgardian friends and battle companions in the first two “Thor” films, says that she is unsure if she will be in “Thor: Ragnarok.”

Alexander portrayed the tough-as-nails Sif in “Thor” (2011) and in “Thor: The Dark World” (2013), as well as in two episodes of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” The actress now stars in NBC’s crime drama series “Blindspot.”

But while Alexander announced in July 2015 that she will be in “Ragnarok,” the actress now says that her film schedule for “Blindspot” and script rewrites for “Ragnarok” have made her less sure if she will be reprising her role in the third Thor stand-alone film.

“I am not 100% sure at this moment,” Alexander told Comic Book Movie. “I know that they’re changing things with the script and that sort of thing, so I am literally in limbo. I know probably less than you do about it. I would love to do it, but whether or not it’s going to work on my short hiatus from ‘Blindspot’ I’m not sure. There could be a lot of factors when it comes to that decision.”

Nevertheless, the actress says that she would love to be in the upcoming film. “If I get to play her again, it’s absolutely gravy,” she added.

Meanwhile, in a recent BuzzFeed question-and-answer session, Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), and “Captain America: Civil War” director Joe Russo tried to guess which side of the “Civil War” conflict Avengers Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor would take if they were in the film.

According to Evans, the Hulk would probably side with Iron Man as Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is on that side of the conflict, while Thor would probably have the same view as Cap.

Russo had a different opinion, answering that the Hulk couldn’t possibly take the government’s side. He also thought that Thor is “more of a wildcard.”

Meanwhile, Downey, Jr. also took a stab and said that both the Hulk and Thor are “Science Bros” of his, insinuating that the two would choose Iron Man’s camp.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3, 2017.

“Captain America: Civil War” drops May 6.
