Last Sunday, another contestant goes home after being eliminated in the latest episode of “The X Factor.”
As the performers showcased their talents to the judges and the U.K., Lauren Murray and 4<sup>th Impact, comprised of Celina, 19, Mylene, 23, Irene, 25, and Almira, 27, emerged as the bottom two. After singing the number “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going,” 4<sup>th Impact was sent home.
The judges gave a split decision. However, along with the votes, the girl band would not be appearing in the upcoming episode of “The X Factor” anymore as they received the lowest number of votes.
In shock, Celina collapsed as mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was talking to the group after the show as reported by Huffington Post. The mentor cried for medical assistance and the aspiring young singer immediately received treatment from the paramedics backstage.
Later, Celina admitted to hosts Rochelle Humes and Melvin Odoom that she was shocked by the outcome of the event, as she appeared in ITV’s spinoff show, “The Xtra Factor.” Prior to Sunday’s incident, Celina also collapsed backstage before performing Beyonc’s “Work It Out.”
Nonetheless, Celina is in a better condition now as she updated her fans through the girl band’s Twitter account. “Now I’m feeling much better and well rested. Thank you for all your prayers! 15 Days b4 my b-day,” she said.
Meanwhile, mentor Fernandez-Versini will be taking a vacation with her husband Jean Bernard after the season of “The X Factor.” As reported by Mirror UK the judge is looking forward to going on a break with husband JB, who she misses desperately when they are apart. The report added that Fernandez-Versini does not like being away from her family for a long time.
“The X Factor” airs every Sunday at 8 P.M. on ITV.
