Finally, viewers will be able to see what happened to Tara (Alanna Masterson) and Heath (Corey Hawkins) after they went on a supply run when “The Walking Dead” season 7 airs its sixth episode.
Based on the teaser video from AMC’s website, it looks like the two are arguing on whether or not they should go back to Alexandria or continue to look for food, ammunitions, and medicines. Moreover, there is a very short description in the “Swear” episode which is about a new community that they will discover. Is it going to be an ally or another opponent for Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group?
According to TV Geek Talk, it looks like the episode will start with Tara waking up on a beach where food and water have been left for her. She will follow the stranger back in her camp. There will also be flashbacks on the reason why Tara and Heath got separated. Tara will meet the new group which is composed of only women and children. She will then learn that the men in the group were killed by another group (which can be the Saviors), so the remaining survivors fled. In order to survive, they kill any intruder they see near their camp. However, Cyndie (Sydney Park), the stranger who saved Tara, is the granddaughter of the group’s leader, Natania, and they believe that Tara should not be killed.
The characters of Tara and Cyndie will become close in the episode, but the people from the latter’s group will think that Tara is a big threat so they will decide to kill her. Upon knowing the plan, Cyndie will save Tara and let her go back to Alexandria. However, she will also ask Tara to swear not to let anyone know about their group. Thus, the title of the episode is “Swear.”
According to Comicbook.com, fans were quick to think that Tara will stumble upon the group of Oceanside. If the TV series will follow the comic book story, then it is a big possibility. Furthermore, there is also another possibility that Rick might discover the Kingdom while he is out on a supply run since he did not say where he is going.
On the other hand, the Inquisitr speculated that Tara might stumble upon another group: the Whisperers. It is another group in the comic book story that cover themselves with rotting skin of dead people so they can freely move without being detected by the walkers.
Which group is Tara going to meet The Oceanside or the Whisperers? Fans will just have to find out when “The Walking Dead” season 7 episode 6 airs on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 9 p.m. EST.
