The Walking Dead Season 6: Can Morgan and Rick get past their issues? next season's main villains are the Wolves and Negan

With The Walking Dead Season 6 set to premiere in a few months, AMC just released the first official poster for the next season.

The picture of the first look shows that Rick Grimes’ group may have a face off with his friend Morgan and the residents of Alexandria.

In the last season of The Walking Dead, Morgan, who claims to have gone through some sort of spiritual cleansing, says that he no longer believes in killing. When he sets foot in Alexandria, however, his much awaited reunion with Rick didn’t go as planned as he witnessed his friend executing Pete.

According to reports, he will later discover that the killing was ordered by Deanna, after Pete killed her husband.
But Morgan finds it hard to come to terms with what his friend has done. Also, Father Gabriel will continue to go against Rick and stand by the people of Alexandria.

Screen Crush reported that the conflict between Rick and Morgan in the next season won’t last long, as the two will be forced to fight together against a greater threat to Alexandria.

The report also suggested that the next season will focus on the Wolves, who are likely to be the bigger threat, since they have been marking the zombies in the last season. The report also said that the next season will introduce a new villain to the show, named Negan.

Speaking about the next season, Scott Gimple, the producer of the show, said: “For a good while now, humans have been the bigger threat. At the start of our next season, that will change. I said the show reinvents itself every 8 eps, and we’re doing it again, friends. Now that these characters know they have what it takes to survive, what are they going to do with that power? How will they choose to live? Beyond answering those questions, we’re currently putting into motion some of our most ambitious stuff yet, and things are going to get very big, loud and scary.”
