'The Walking Dead' cruise: chance for fans to meet Norman Reedus and other stars aboard the Walker Stalker Cruise

Fans of AMC’s post-apocalyptic series, “The Walking Dead,” have the chance to go on a cruise to the Bahamas with the cast and crew of the show starting on January 15, 2016.

Norwegian Cruise Lines has announced that a zombie-themed vacation awaits those who are dreaming of being onboard its Norwegian Pearl ship when a zombie apocalypse happens, Bustle reports.

Teaming up with The Walker Stalkers, the team which regularly organizes science-fiction conventions worldwide, and the creative team of both the TV series and comic books, the cruise will sail from Miami, Florida to Nassau in the Bahamas for three days.

Based on their official website, stars who will join the cruise include Norman Reedus as Daryl, Chandler Riggs as Carl, Emily Kenney as Beth, Sonequa Martin-Green as Sasha, Chad Coleman as Tyreese, Christian Serratos as Rosita, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. as Bob and Ross Marquand as Aaron.

Its official description reads, “We’re taking all the excitement of Walker Stalker Con out of the convention center and putting it on a beautiful cruise ship right in the middle of the Caribbean. Vacation with some of your favorite actors, as well as a few makeup gurus who make those creepy onscreen walkers the stuff of nightmares. Relax and enjoy this convention in an intimate setting filled with fun in the sun. Get your survival kits ready.”

Aside from typical activities such as bowling, wall climbing, casino and spa, vacationers will get to experience themed parties and games, and attend live question and answer panel with the celebrities. There will also be a professional make-up artist who can transform guests into zombies in preparation for the costume contest.

The ship can carry an estimated 2,200 travelers and prices range from $750 to $4,000 per person. In addition, first 1,000 people to register will get a limited-edition lithograph signed by Reedus.
