The Salvatore brothers will get caught up with their respective love lives when “The Vampire Diaries” comes back on air this week.
In the upcoming episode titled “Days of Future Past,” both Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) will be dealing with matters of the heart as they try to make amends with their ladies. Last episode, Stefan has started to doubt the possibility of building a future with Caroline (Candice King), while she is on a trip of her own to figure things out. Unfortunately, it looks like it will take a little bit more time for fans to find out whether the couple will be able to patch things up especially as King is scheduled to be absent from the show for a couple of episodes due to her pregnancy.
Damon, on the other hand, is expected to have a confrontation with Bonnie (Kat Graham) after he decided to hide for three years effectively leaving her in the middle of chaos, while being clueless on what is really happening.
“She is not happy with him at all. And why should she be? He abandoned her. There’s no two ways about it. So he’s going to have to really build that back up as the season continues,” Somerhalder told TV Line last week.
“Bonnie gets consistently screwed over by this man,” Somerhalder admitted. “Like Stefan, she goes to great lengths to help him, and she just gets s*** on as a result of it. She really, really does. And she tries so hard to give him the benefit of the doubt because they’re bonded. There’s a bond there, and he does love her. She’s his best friend. She and Ric are really his best friends, other than his brother.”
Moreover, the vampire brothers will also have to deal with notorious vampire hunter Rayna (Leslie Anne Huff). An article by Spoilers Guide reveals that Rayna is already close to catching Stefan.
“The Vampire Diaries” season 7 continues this week, Friday, April 1 on The CW.
