Last week, based on a report by People, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s” Amber Marchese announced that she will be leaving the show for good.

“Jim and I have been giving Real Housewives or New Jersey a lot of thought and given the current state of affairs regarding our personal lives and the direction of the show, we officially decided to move on. The show was not what we expected it to be, and I want to pursue more suitable endeavors,” Marchese said.

She further revealed in the same report that she had “little control over the content, situations,” as well as “what will be shown to the audience.” Marchese also mentioned that even her relationship with twins Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano were fake.

However, there are rumors that Marchese was actually fired by Bravo TV. A source told TV Deets, “Amber can say whatever she wants, but she was fired. Bravo would never call her out.” The same report said that Marchese was fired not only because of her “really difficult husband,” Jim, but also because “people don’t like her.”

Meanwhile, as Marchese exits, Radar Online confirms that Siggy Flicker has been offered a contract by Bravo TV for the upcoming “Real Housewives of New Jersey” season. A relationship expert, professional matchmaker, and the author of “Write Your Own Fairytale,” Flicker seems to be a “perfect fit” as Bravo wanted someone “pretty and successful to add to the mix,” said the report. Aside from that, Flicker may be able to use her profession in helping the other housewives in their relationships.

As for the storyline, a report from Entertainment Online early this year revealed that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is expected to be revamped to look more glamorous such as “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” It will also veer away from Teresa Giudice’s legal troubles and will focus on a “fresh start.”

The premiere date of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” season 7 is yet to be confirmed, although it is expected to come sometime in 2016.
