'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' season 8 news: NeNe Leakes is back; conflicts with housewives, Kenya in episode 14

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 8 will be returning with episode 14 with more drama ahead for the housewives.

Back in episode 13, titled “Jamaican Beef Catty,” NeNe Leakes surprised the rest of the housewives with her return. Although it was initially an awkward reunion between her and Sheree Whitfield, they seemed to have ironed out their old differences after the episode.

Whitfield even revealed in her interview with Bravo TV, “I honestly feel like we both wiped the slate clean. I am choosing to remain optimistic and take it day by day.”

She continued, “What many people do not understand is that NeNe and I were friends far before ‘RHOA’ came into the picture. We shared some great times and really knew one another — the good, the bad, and the ugly! Through the fallout, we still held those secrets close and maintained a mutual respect for one another, and that I applaud.”

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode is expected to have more drama, but in what looks like a gloomier tone.

Titled “Peaches of the Caribbean,” Bravo TV revealed in the official synopsis that Cynthia Bailey will confront Kenya Moore regarding what she said to the rest of the housewives in the previous episode. Leakes will try to patch up the conflicts by inviting Moore to join the rest of the ladies. However, things will turn bad when her new man, Matt Jordan, clashes with Peter Thomas.

Kenya will continue to dampen the mood of the rest of the housewives with her cold shoulder during their commercial shoot. The network summary revealed that her behavior “threatened the success” of their project. As for Kim Fields, a gossip regarding her husband spreads, leaving her shocked and the rest of the housewives unable to react.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 8 will air episode 14 on Feb. 14.
