Fans of the hit series “The Originals” recently got a special look at the upcoming season of the series.
It was reported that attendees of the San Diego Comic-Con were treated with a preview of “The Originals” season 4. After the action-filled season 3 of The CW series, there has been a lot of questions regarding the fate of the characters.
With that, the teaser for “The Originals” season 4 fast-forwarded the narrative with a 5-year time jump, revealing the fate of many of the characters. One of the interesting characters that the upcoming season will explore is Hope, who was two years old when the previous season ended.
According to TVLine, the executive producer of the series, Michael Narducci, explained that the new season will show how Hope has grown and what kind of person she has become. He said, “She was two years old when we left her… and she’s now a little person. She’s got dialogue and hopes and dreams, and she misses her dad and understands her family has suffered a great loss.”
Hope’s storyline is expected to open a lot of new opportunities for the show, not just for her character. Phoebe Tonkin, who plays Hope’s mom Hayley, explained that her character will also evolve in the upcoming season.
“When we met Hayley, all she ever wanted was family. Through the events that happened, she created a family on her own with her daughter. I don’t think she feels alone one, because she has five bodies in the back of her car and because she has a purpose, a family-driven purpose,” the actress revealed.
Because of these developments, many are wondering if season 4 will make way for the exit of the hit series “The Vampire Diaries.” “The Originals” was initially released as its spin-off, however, with its success, many believe that it will continue long after the conclusion of “The Vampire Diaries.”
