Fans will have to wait for a few weeks to find out what happens in the next episode of “The Good Wife” season 7, after Alice finally dropped the “d” word to Peter in the previous episode.
In episode 18 of the American legal and political drama television series titled “Unmanned,” Alicia (Julianna Margulies) finally told Peter (Chris Noth) that she wanted a divorce. Prior to the conversation, Alicia acted as a not-so-good wife as she was in bed with Jason (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Jason and Peter even had some exchange of words and threats, after the latter saw Jason in the house. However, Alicia seemed unaffected by it all.
Alicia’s decision was not surprising, especially since her relationship with Peter had been rocky. However, the cliffhanger left fans wondering what will the latter’s take be. Nonetheless, it will not just be the problem that Peter will be thinking about, as the summary for the upcoming episode hints that he will be facing some uncertainties ahead and may even be jailed.
In the official synopsis posted on Carter Matt, episode 19, titled “Landing,” gives a preview of the troubles ahead of Peter, as well as the rest of the characters.
It reads, “Alicia and Lucca travel to Toronto to represent NSA Agent Jeff Delinger (Zach Woods) who was detained by customs officers while attempting to re-enter the United States. Also, Diane grows concerned when her husband, Kurt McVeigh (Gary Cole), decides to retire and sell his business to Holly Westfall (Megan Hilty), a rival business owner, and Peter contemplates an uncertain future when he faces possible arrest.”
The seventh installment of the show will be its final run, as announced during the Super Bowl 50. What will happen to Peter and Alicia’s relationship? Will Peter end up behind bars during the season’s conclusion?
“The Good Wife” season 7 will air episode 19 on April 17 on CBS.
