After season 2 of “The Flash” featured Cisco having a pair of working Vibe goggles that helps him focus his power, fans are said to be wondering if he will have a full costume in the future as well. During the recent upfront presentation of The CW, the cast members shared their take on the possibility.

Talking to Comicbook, Jesse Martin who portrays Detective Joe West enthusiastically stated that he believes it will be soon, “It’s gotta be coming. It’s coming soon. It’s gotta be!” However, Carlos Valdes who plays as Cisco seems to be a little hesitant, “Reason would have it. That’s all I’m gonna say!”

Valdes further explained that he is aware of the viewers looking forward to seeing the hero fully embrace his metahuman alter-ego, but he noted that there is more to Cisco than being Vibe, “I think Cisco, more than anything, is a scientist at heart. He’s a mechanical engineer, and he’s a geek! So I don’t think that’s ever not going to be a part of him. There’s nothing more exciting to him than embracing the unknown.”

Meanwhile, Martin is looking for some romance for Joe West and believes he would find it during the touted big crossover between the other superhero shows in the network – “Supergirl,” “Arrow,” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.”

When asked about his opinion of meeting Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) in National City, “Why not? Joe’s single, as far as I can tell she’s single, we may as well get together! I’m kinda hoping that we’d have a little love thing going on,” the actor humorously answered.

When it comes to the narrative, Valdes teased during a panel at MegaCon that after Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) altered the past to save his mother, the finale will change the show in an exciting way.

“All I’m going to tell you is things are going to be different, way different. Not in a bad way; I think in a really exciting way, and it’s that difference that’s going to inform Barry’s trajectory throughout the season, and I think people are going to like it,” he hinted.

Season 3 of “The Flash” is predicted to air sometime in October.
