Well, it looks like someone is going to have visions of the Flashpoint reality in the next episode of “The Flash.” According to the official synopsis, Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) is going to be dreaming of himself as Kid Flash in the Flashpoint timeline.
Based on the preview trailer for the upcoming episode, Wally is going to come face-to-face with Dr. Alchemy. Did Alchemy give him those visions? How will Wally react when he finds out that he was Kid Flash in Flashpoint? He was clearly upset when he found out that Jesse Wells (Violett Beane) had acquired the powers of a speedster.
Is Alchemy going to somehow grant him his wish? After all, the villain was the one who gave Edward Clariss (Todd Lasance) and Frankie Kane (Joey King) their powers. The synopsis also revealed that Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) is going to realize that he has to talk to Wally, Iris (Candice Patton), and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened in Flashpoint.
Who is Alchemy anyway? It’s the same every season. There is always a mysterious villain lurking in the shadows and whose identity is hidden from the viewers. In season 1, it was Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher). In season 2, it was Hunter Zolomon/Zoom (Teddy Sears, voiced by Tony Todd). Who is it this time?
Everyone’s first guess is it’s probably going to be CSI tech Julian Albert (Tom Felton). After all, Felton does know how to play a villain (see Draco Malfoy). Michael Patterson of Moviepilot also thinks so that is until he watched the previous episode. Patterson now thinks that there is no way Albert can be Alchemy. He said episode 5 showed that Albert was actually a nice guy underneath the gruff exterior. So, if he’s not Alchemy, then who is?
Season 3 episode 6 of “The Flash” airs on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
