'The Big Bang Theory' season 9 spoilers: Sheldon, Leonard get into heated argument, forcing friends to take sides

Viewers have to wait two weeks for the new episode of CBS’ highly acclaimed comedy series “The Big Bang Theory” season 9 featuring the gang taking sides between two friends.

Titled “The Viewing Party Combustion,” Leonard (Johnny Galecki) will get into an argument with Sheldon (Jim Parsons) during a get together to watch a television premiere. Although their disagreement will start small, it will erupt into a heated fight that will force everyone around them such as Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Wolowitz (Simon Helberg), Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar), Amy (Mayim Bialik), and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) to choose sides.

It seems like the two best buds will be arguing about their roommate arrangement meeting. Sheldon believes that they should continue holding affairs, but Leonard will state that he does not want to go to one anymore. Moreover, Howard and Raj will also have their own squabble as the latter brags about dating two women.

When the friends become divided in the installment, they will form two camps that will stay in different rooms – 4A and 4B. In an interesting turn of events, it seems like Penny will take Sheldon’s side, while Amy will side with Leonard. Joining Penny and Sheldon are Raj and Stuart, who will be tricked by Howard to dress up for a supposed costume party.

As the groups continue to fight, Amy will reveal to Leonard how she feels about the meetings and how they seem to make Sheldon and Penny close. Only when Howard has to be taken to the hospital after Leonard serves peanuts to the viewing party and the former accidentally ate some, that they will be able to set their differences aside.

They will rush off to the emergency room with Bernadette who will go home during the early part of the episode to opt out of the dispute.

Season 9, episode 21 of “The Big Bang Theory” is slated to air on Thursday, April 21 at 8 P.M. EST.
