'The Big Bang Theory' season 9 spoilers: What secret is Sheldon going to reveal to Amy?

Dr. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) is known in the comedy show “The Big Bang Theory” as a straight arrow and someone who does not hold anything back. But according to the show’s executive producer Steve Molaro, Sheldon is holding something back and he will be revealing this “weird secret” to his girlfriend Amy (Mayim Bialik) soon. Molaro shared this tidbit with Entertainment Weekly recently.

Given his character’s penchant for openness, this statement had fans thinking about what this secret could be and whether Sheldon has told his best friend, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) about it. Molaro, however, said that it is a secret that nobody knows about.

When the show returns on March 10, after a one-week hiatus, with episode 18 entitled “The Application Deterioration,” Sheldon, Leonard and Howard (Simon Helberg) find themselves trying to solve the problems that come out as they file for a patent for their device, the infinite persistence gyroscope. According to a Design & Trend report, the three will be spending much of the whole episode resolving the issue at hand, which the report hopes to be as funny as the show’s other episodes so far.

In the meantime, Amy, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Bernardette (Melissa Rauch) are helping Raj (Kunal Nayyar) with a dating predicament he is in. Raj is asking the girls for advice on whether to get back together with Emily (Laura Spencer) or to start anew with Claire (Alessandra Torresani).

According to the Design & Trend report, Raj and Emily will get a chance to talk about their breakup in the coming episode, and Emily will be revealing something to Raj that will have implications on their relationship. In the previous episode, Raj broke it off with Emily because he thought Claire was interested in him.

Episode 18 will air on March 10, Thursday at 8 p.m. E.T. on CBS. The show recently aired its 200th episode, which is episode 17, entitled “The Celebration Experimentation.”
