'The Big Bang Theory' season 9 episode 10 spoilers and more: Sheldon and Amy reportedly ready to consummate their relationship

In the episode 9 of “The Big Bang Theory” season 9, after spending the day at the aquarium together, Amy (Mayim Bialik) told Sheldon (Jim Parsons) that she was ready to get back together with him. Surprisingly, Sheldon declined Amy’s proposition, leaving the latter heartbroken  a feeling viewers shared with her.

With “The Big Bang Theory” currently on break, fans are left wondering what is in store for the group, especially Sheldon and Amy, whose relationship has been one of the highlights this season.

Spoilers apparently leaked online and episode 10 will reportedly see the reconciliation of Sheldon and Amy as they profess their love for each other. It reports that Sheldon will catch himself humming a tune which he cannot get out of his head. Later on, it is revealed to be a song by “The Beach Boys,” which makes Sheldon realize Amy’s importance in his life.

Amy, on the other hand, is giving her relationship with Dave (Stephen Merchant) another chance by going out on a date with him again. As the two are about to kiss, Sheldon steps in and hinders them from doing so.

Sheldon reportedly says, “Amy is the Earworm in my heart.”

Dave, being a big fan of Sheldon, excitedly explains that the statement means he loves Amy.

Things are also about to get steamy between the pair, as Entertainment Tonight reports that Sheldon and Amy will finally consummate their relationship this season.

“After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we’re so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes,” executive producer Steve Molaro said in a statement.

It will definitely be exciting for fans of the pair to see how that will play out.

“The Big Bang Theory” season 9 episode 10 titled “The Earworm Reverberation” will air on CBS on Dec. 10.
