After losing her chance with star of “The Bachelor” season 20 Ben Higgins, Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher is getting another chance to find true love as she stars in “The Bachelorette” season 12.
In a report from ABC, Fletcher reveals what she is looking for in a partner. She admitted that she wants someone who “can make me feel safe and protected and somebody that I can trust.”
The star of “The Bachelorette” season 12 is also looking for a committed relationship in a marriage context. She said, “I want a family, so I feel like this could happen right now.”
Fletcher also seems to be enjoying her current state in choosing her Mr. Right, as she revealed that she is “connecting,” “having fun,” and “feeling feelings” with the male contenders at this point, to her surprise.
The filming of the new season is currently ongoing, where five men were reportedly already eliminated, said Us Weekly. There are also rumors that the bachelorette is already getting close to one of the men, Jordan Rodgers, the older brother of NFL quarterback Aaron Rodger. However, Fletcher is most likely still keeping her options open as she spends time with the others. Fletcher is currently testing the waters with 20 other men and is reportedly taking the process very seriously.
Fletcher was almost engaged in season 20 of “The Bachelor,” after Higgins admitted that he loved her in one of the episodes of the show. However, to her surprise, Higgins also professed love for Lauren Bushnell and eventually proposed to her, leaving Fletcher hanging and heartbroken.
Fletcher admitted that she and Higgins are not communicating now, recalling how she spent weeks processing her disappointment. Will she finally find her true love and be engaged after the season of “The Bachelorette?”
“The Bachelorette” season 12 will premiere on May 23 on ABC.
