The eleventh season of The Bachelorette, still in its early episodes, is already heating up with the most recent happenings. The show already brought the ring into the competition. But not an engagement ring – a boxing ring, as the male hopefuls battle it out (literally!) for their chosen Bachelorette.
And for this week, the band of handsome bachelors ditched their clothing and digged the traditional gar to once again battle it outthis time in the sumo ring! Take a look at the photos!
Wearing nothing but the traditional cloth over their groins, the male hopefuls received a tutorial from Japanese sumo wrestlers. The Bachelorette Kaitlyn also showed-off her strength as she did a round of sumo with one of the wrestlers, the Daily Mail reports.
As for this season’s Bachelorette, Kaitlyn, Week 2 (episode 3) opened with 19 remaining hopeful bachelors. To start with, eight of them were sent to the boxing gym with Kaitlyn. Fighter Laila Ali then appeared and gave a little “boxing is like love” motivational talk for the bachelors, and it is revealed that they all must fight for the beltand Kaitlyn’s heart.
After groups of fights, with everyone obviously determined to impress Kaitlyn, it all comes down to Ben Z. versus Jared. After taking a serious shot to the head, Jared goes down and gets hospitalized for an injury, while Ben Z emerged victorious of all the guys.
Meanwhile, for the second group date, the guys get a comedy crash course with comedienne Amy Schumer. Each man then had their chance to make everyone laugh while onstage, and JJ wins the date rose for this week.
Kupah is probably the talk of the episode, as he was sent home by Kaitlyn even before the ceremony. After saying that he does not want to be that guy who’s just there because he looks good with the roster of men she keeps. The talk then resulted in big disagreements between the two, and Kaitlyn decided to send Kupah home.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays on ABC.
