'The Bachelorette' 2016: JoJo Fletcher reportedly had fun during first night as the new star

ABC announced that the next female looking for luck in her love life in the new season of “The Bachelorette” is JoJo Fletcher.

Fans may remember her as one of the contestants who made an impression when she went out of the limousine wearing a unicorn mask during Ben Higgins’ time in the recently concluded “The Bachelor.” Although she did not get the final rose, she will be on her own adventure in seeking the man of her dreams.

According to E! Online, production for the upcoming installment is currently underway and the 24-year-old real estate developer has apparently met her 25 suitors.

“Jojo is over the moon. She is so excited and she’s really, really looking forward to hopefully getting engaged. That’s why she’s there. Not for career, not for anything else. She’s dying to meet the right guy and get engaged,” a source said to the news outlet.

Although viewers have to wait before the shows air, “The Bachelor” creator Mike Fleiss and ABC’s senior vice president of the alternative series Robert Mills, live tweeted Fletcher’s first night in the show, sharing her first kiss to getting some gifts.

“Wild group of dude’s. Some great ones for sure….” Fleiss teased. “Some seem to be a little too into JoJo. #clinger,” he added. He also revealed that one of the males copied her unicorn mask introduction and gushed over the new star saying, “JoJo is doing great. Fun and full of personality!!! It was a fantastic Night One!!! JoJo was amazing!!!”

Meanwhile, Mills previewed that, “Yes someone brought JoJo a wine bottle to chug from and you bet your a** she chugged from it.”

Spoilers have it that one of the guys vying for her love is apparently his ex-boyfriend Chad Rookstool. Viewers may remember him during last season when Jojo and Ben went to a hometown date in which the former was surprised when she came home to a bouquet of roses and a letter from Chad, asking for them to get back together.

New season of “The Bachelorette” premieres on May 23.
