'The Bachelor' season 20 spoilers: Ben Higgins hands the final rose to Lauren Bushnell


The 20<sup>th season of th American dating game show “The Bachelor” has yet to air, but a lot of spoilers have been circulayinh the Internet making followers of the show excited for its small screen come back next year.

This season’s new Bachelor is Ben Higgins. Fans of the show may recognize him from a previous season of the show’s female counterpart “The Bachelorette.” Introduced as one of the aspiring men to win Kaitlyn Bristowe’s final rose, Higgins was eliminated just going on to week 9 of the show.

Now, he has the choice to choose which of the female contestants he would like to marry in real life. Casting of the show has started even when season 19 was still ongoing, and the show filmed the final rose ceremony on Nov. 18. According to Reality Steve, Higgins even went beyond just dating as he also got on one knee and proposed to the holder of his final rose.

Left with three ladies namely Caila Quinn, Jojo Fletcher, and Lauren Bushnell, the Bachelor took his time with each of them to be able to make the right decision. Higgins brought them to Jamaica’s Sandals Royal Plantation for an overnight stay as part of the fantasy suite dates.

Caila Quinn is the first person to be eliminated among the three narrowing down his search between the 24-year-old Dallas, Texas native Jojo Fletcher and Oregon, Portland resident Lauren Bushnell. In the end, Ben chose the 25-year-old Lauren. The decision didn’t come as a surprise as insiders have already speculated that Ben was significantly attracted to Lauren more compared to the other girls as early as the middle of the upcoming season.

“The Bachelor” season 20 will start airing on Jan. 20 on ABC.
