After the panel of “The 100” at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), fans are more hyped to see the return of the cast in the fourth season. The last season surely pumped up the viewers with the continuous surprising events that occurred, and it is said that the fourth season will give twists and surprises as well.
Some of the people who were part of the panel discussion during SDCC were Jason Rothenberg, the creator of the series, and the rest of the cast which were Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, and Eliza Taylor.
Fans were devastated last season when Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) was killed off and it somehow affected the show’s ratings as well. Now, viewers of the show are still wondering if the writers will still bring back the character. Rothenberg addressed the rumor by saying, “Lexa’s not coming back to the show. She won’t be in season 4.”
However, it was announced that Roan will come back for the fourth season and will now be a series regular. The actor, Zach McGowan, also tweeted the good news. Other characters that have been confirmed to return are Indra (Adina Porter) and Luna (Nadia Hilker). In season 4, Octavia (Marie Avgeropolous) will set off to find Indra. Meanwhile, Luna’s return to the story has yet to be revealed.
It was also said that season 4 will start where it left off at the end of the third season and this means that no time jump will be involved. Rothenberg has also added the next season will also start out with a bang. With this, a new character will also come into the story.
He also expounded on Octavia’s character development. He said that the character will make more grim decisions, “She’s going to go ahead and do what she does best, which is killing people.”
There is no exact release date yet for the next season of “The 100,” but it is said to return sometime in 2017.
