'The 100' season 3 spoilers: lots of conflict as Clarke confronts Lexa, and Bellamy and Octavia take opposing sides

Fans have been anticipating for the premiere of the new season of “The 100” for months, as well as its trailer for sneak peek for several weeks. After the trailer was finally released mid-month at almost three minutes long, fans had a good preview and were further hyped up of what is coming for season 3.

Back at the end of season 2, Clarke, played by Eliza Taylor, released a radiation from Mount Weather through the influence of Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), which cost the lives of many innocent men. Overcame with guilt, she left Camp Jaha to isolate herself and perhaps reflect on the bloodshed. However, in the upcoming season, she may have to face the past based on what the trailer suggested.

Moreover, she will confront Lexa as the snippets showed her pointing a knife to the former’s neck. Nonetheless, she eventually let her former love interest go without scratch. This may suggest that Lexa gave a good explanation or perhaps, the flame simply did not die.

The video also showed several scenes of tensions, fights, and conflicts for the rest of the characters. Aside from Lexa and Clarke, Bellamy (Bob Morley) and Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) will also be on opposing sides, with fans getting a preview of the latter punching her brother as they fight for different stands.

Meanwhile, Alicia Lutes, an editor of several news portals, reacted to episode 4 of “The 100” season 3, hinting on an upcoming twist, as re-tweeted by the Twitter page of “The 100” writers. With this, it can be assumed that fans will see an unexpected storyline in the fourth episode of the show.

More details will be revealed when “The 100” season 3 returns to the small screen on Jan. 21 on The CW.
