Telltale Games news: 'Batman' episodic game announced, to be released in 2016


Get ready for a new tale of The Dark Knight, as the iconic superhero makes his way to Telltale Games in his very own episodic adventure game.

Telltale Games, popular for its player decision driven story games, recently announced a new episodic game in development. Working in partnership with DC Comics and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Telltale Games announced at the recently held Games Awards 2015 “BatmanA Telltale Games Series.” The launched title is still a working title, though.

A short teaser trailer was also released, giving a glimpse of a Gotham City plagued by high crime rates as.

“At Telltale, we’ve been honored to bring our unique approach to interactive storytelling to some of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll soon be exploring what it means to be Batman in an all-new series starting next year,” said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. “This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.”

Telltale Games also announced the release of the new standalone three episodes game “The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Games Series” that will be released in February 2016.

The full trailer of “BatmanA Telltale Games Series” will debut sometime this week. The game will be released on consoles, PC/Mac, and mobile devices in 2016.
