Things didn’t go too well in “Teen Wolf” season 6 episode 8 for the pack. It seems that they have reached a dead end when the rift to the abandoned train station disappeared after Douglas (Pete Ploszek) and the possessed Parrish (Ryan Kelley) went through it, but Scott (Tyler Posey) and the gang would not give up that easily.
As seen in the preview trailer, the pack is going to, once again, attempt to rescue Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) in “Teen Wolf” season 6 episode 9. According to the synopsis, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Theo (Cody Christian) are going to act as decoys so that Scott, Lydia (Holland Roden), and Malia (Shelley Hennig) can come up with a plan to try and remember Stiles.
So, what’s the plan? Sources say that the trio will attempt to “storm the rift” to get Stiles back. Despite the plan being a bit vague, it looks like it’s still going to be interesting. Meanwhile, Liam, Hayden (Victoria Moroles), and Mason (Khylin Rhambo) will ask Theo for some vital information related to Douglas. The wolf/lion hybrid seems to have similar powers with the Ghost Riders, so perhaps they may learn something worth their while.
Meanwhile, things could have gone worse, but Sheriff Noah Stilinski (Linden Ashby) has finally remembered his son, Stiles (Dylan O’Brien).
“Teen Wolf” fans sure are patient. After six seasons and eight episodes, the people behind the show has finally revealed Stiles’ real name. His real name is actually Mieczyslaw, and it seems to be a mouthful, even for Stiles.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “Teen Wolf” showrunner Jeff Davis explained why he came up with that name.
“A few years ago, I knew I would have to actually reveal Stiles’s name at some point. I was looking for a Polish name that was incredibly difficult to both spell and pronounce. Mieczyslaw sounded like ‘mischief.’ It seemed like a perfect word to describe Stiles. Both as a mischievous child and equally misbehaved adult,” Davis said in the interview.
“Teen Wolf” season 6 episode 9 will air on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
