Fans only have to wait a little longer for new details regarding MTV’s hit supernatural series “Teen Wolf” season 6 as the show is reportedly confirmed to appear in the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con.
Executive producer Jeff Davis told Teen Wolf News that some members of the cast and crew will be in attendance during the event and that the network will debut the first official trailer for the new season. Aside from the aforementioned tidbits, it is also predicted that the schedule for the premiere may also finally be announced.
The pop culture convention is set to take place from Thursday through Sunday, July 21 to 24. However, specific time slots of all participating parties have yet to be revealed. Fans have to tune in starting July 6, the earliest date by which the timetable of panels and programs may be made public.
Rumors have it that the viewers will also soon find out whether Dylan O’Brien will reprise his role as Stiles Stilinski or not. The actor suffered a serious injury earlier this year while on the set of the film “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure” so his possible return remains a mystery.
On a related note, the showrunner also shared that the filming for the new season is currently on a break and they will return to production sometime in the middle of summer. “Yes, we are on a brief hiatus. We’re picking back up again to do two more weeks of shooting in August,” he stated.
Series star Tyler Posey, who portrays protagonist Scott McCall, previously shared that the follow-up narrative will be a good one. “‘Teen Wolf’ always tries to push the envelope and do something creative and something we’ve never done before. We’re trying to do that again,” he mused to E! News.
“I can’t give you much at all. I can’t give you anything, really, but it’s going to be good. I’m directing an episode sometime this season. I don’t know what yet but that’s exciting. I’m producing and it’s just going to be good,” the 24-year-old actor added.
