'Teen Mom OG' news: Farrah Abraham reportedly receives backlash from fans; more drama as show films in Hawaii

Star of MTV’s reality series “Teen Mom OG” Farrah Abraham is reportedly receiving some backlash from fans who deem that she was being racist in one of her comments.

According to Design N’ Trend, Abraham left a comment on the video posted by Rob Kardashian’s fiancee Blac Chyna on Instagram saying, “”F—— monkey ewe s— come up 4 what she is a nothing.” Some of the users believe that calling a person of African American descent a “monkey” is wrong, and they want to boycott the show because of her.

Abraham also shared an image of her seven-year-old daughter Sophia on her social media account that was regarded as inappropriate by some people. In the picture, Sophia is playing on a pole in the playground and Abraham captioned it with, “Parenthood few do it right,” while the words on the photo read, “So this is why the playground is so popular – oh boy.”

Reports claim that this is not the first time Abraham has been criticized for her unconventional parenting ways. In 2013, she apparently came under fire for plucking her daughter’s eyebrows and letting her wear makeup to school at a young age.

Abraham has yet to comment on the matter.

Meanwhile, the show is said to be under production for the new season, and a camera crew allegedly followed Abraham and her family including Sophia, Debra, and Michael to Hawaii.

It seems like the show’s followers may expect more drama coming as Michael also brought her new girlfriend along. “Debra completely lost it when Mike brought his new girlfriend. It created a ton of drama that the cameras picked up. To describe it in one word- I’d say- crazy,” a production source shared.

The insider also added that Abraham’s on-again, off-again boyfriend Simon Saran was also there, “That brought even more crazy relationship drama.”

Fans may remember that she brought Saran as her date to this year’s 2016 MTV Movie Awards which prompted inquiries about their relationship status. “We’re growing up. We have so much to do in our relationship, but we’re here as friends today,” Abraham stated.

New installments of “Teen Mom OG” season 6 are expected to air later this 2016.
