Leah Messer and ex-husband, Corey Simms’ agreement of sharing the custody of their twins may take an ugly turn in this week’s episode of “Teen Mom 2.”
Latest reports point out that what seemed to be civility between the ex-couple will be shattered by a video. It is unclear what the video specifically shows or whether Leah or Corey is present in the clip.
Complementing the situation at hand is a teaser for this week’s episode where Leah is telling her sister, Victoria, about Corey filing an injunction to be the primary custodian of 6-year-olds Ali and Aleeah.
“Today, I get his objection that West Virginia law does not recognize joint custodian. Who cares? Why are you making a big deal out of nothing,” Leah said. Earlier in the season, Corey was teased finding out that he has been granted primary custody of his kids because of Leah’s inability to bring the girls to school on time. To further her woes, Leah has also been struggling to get up in the morning up to the point that one of the twins, Aleeah, complained that she was not given breakfast.
Despite this, the West Virginia native is still adamant that she will not give up the brewing custody battle.
“I know plenty of parents that’s done joint custodian… I mean, if you’re both good parents, then there should be nothing wrong. And then he says that he should be the primary custodian because they live or, they go to school in his district and whatever else. No! OK, I do everything, so maybe I should be the primary custodian,” she further explained.
Elsewhere in the upcoming episode, Kailyn Lowry tries to mend ties with Vee. Jenelle Evans, on the other hand, travels to New York to seek medical attention on her mysterious sickness.
The official synopsis for the episode reads, “Kailyn works on her relationship with Vee; Cole takes Aubree to a father-daughter dance; Jenelle seeks help in New York for mysterious medical ailments; and Leah and Corey’s co-parenting is shattered by a disturbing video.”
“Teen Mom 2” season 7 airs every Monday night, 10 P.M. EST on MTV.
