It seems Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s battle cry is “the show must go on.”

With a little over a year since their bitter breakup, the two are back again, at least behind the camera. A report from Realtor.com said that the ex-lovers are working side-by-side despite the tension that was evident in season 6’s filming.

The report added that the two have become more cordial, as they begin filming the episodes for the upcoming season. “Honestly, if we didn’t get along, we wouldn’t be doing the show,” said Christina after HGTV confirmed their show’s extension.

As for Tarek, his statements showed that he and his soon-to-be ex-wife are in the same boat. “Now we say, ‘Hi, good morning.’ We film together and talk about houses and the kids,” shared Tarek. “We’ll be together for the rest of our lives because we have kids. We need to get along for the kids and for our sanity,” he added.

Season 7’s pilot episode will be titled “A Deceiving Deal,” which features a house that literally has a bad-smelling problem.

Apart from flipping homes, the two are also busy helping people that are close to them. Earlier this month,  Tarek took to Instagram calling for help to raise funds. “PLEASE PLEASE WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE A LIFE!!! Our contractor Frank Miller from Flip or Flop is battling 2 very, very aggressive cancers, really bad ones, he’s fighting for his life out of feeding tubes!!,” he wrote.

Tarek explained that Miller’s medical bills have skyrocketed and that any donation, be it big or small, will help. He also said that he and Christina love Miller so much that they donated $5,000 to Miller’s GoFundMe campaign.

As for Christina, she also promoted the GoFundMe link of Miller to help generate more funds, which could come from her wide network.

“Flip or Flop” season 7 will start airing in December of this year in HGTV.
