“Suits” continues to build their cast sheet with the confirmation of returning characters as well as the addition of new faces.
As of now, characters are pivotal in the legal drama given that by the end of season 5, Pearson, Specter, Litt has become a firm that suddenly nobody wants to associate with. Given this, aside from the core cast of the show, USA has also confirmed the return of Aloma Wright as Gretchen who has served as Louis’ (Rick Hoffman) new secretary following Donna’s (Sarah Rafferty) return to Harvey. Furthermore, senior partner Jack Soloff played by John Pyper-Ferguson is likewise scheduled to come back. Fans can remember that Soloff eventually left the firm after Mike’s (Patrick J. Adams) scandal blew up so it is interesting where his story will go following his resignation.
Neal McDonough will also reprise his role as SEC Investigator Sean Cahill in season 6, alongside Harvey’s (Gabriel Macht) Harvard arch nemesis Eliot Stemple played by Patrick Fischler.
Speaking of Harvey, Macht has confirmed that breaking into the new season will be a treat given that the stakes are higher than ever not just to the law firm as a whole but individually as well.
“We’ve seen these two guys with the help of Louis and Jessica and Rachel and Donna get out of these sticky situations, every time,” the American thespian recalled referring to Mike and Harvey’s shenanigans in the past installments of “Suits.”
If the last couple of episodes of season 5 were any indication that the story will delve deeper into the characters’ personal traumas, fans can expect that it will continue to do so in the upcoming installment.
Unfortunately, even before Macht spilled the beans on what else is to come in season 6, he suddenly became cagey about it saying that he does not know yet the specifics in terms of “Suits” moving forward.
“I haven’t heard any ideas of what’s going to happen in season 6, but there are great stories to be told, because everyone knows [Mike’s] not a real lawyer,” he said.
“Suits” season 6 is expected to go on air on July 13, 9 P.M. EST on USA Network.
