'Suits' season 5 spoilers: Old cases will be revisited, last three episodes of season will be interesting says Patrick J. Adams

Suits” finally returned with “Blowback” this week. While people in the Pearson, Specter, Litt firm are trying to save Mike (Patrick J. Adams) from prison, fans are also wondering about wht will happen to the old cases that Mike and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) won in the last four seasons of the show.

Fortunately, Adams generously shared some hints on how this angle is injected in the current situation of Mike.

“As a result of this case, a lot of old cases are going to come back into play. I’ve been told not to say too much, but you can expect to see a lot of the old players come back and, in one way or another, try to affect the fate of this case,” the actor revealed to Entertainment Weekly even before the midseason opener aired.

The Canadian actor also hyped the last three episodes of the season saying, “They were some of the most exciting scripts that we’ve read in a long time.” While exciting can really go in both directions for his character, fans can be rest assured that Harvey will exhaust every single option just to get him out of the hole that his character is in right now.

Moreover, Adams shared that he has helmed episode 14 of the season which he declared to be the heaviest episode for Mike in the current outing of the show.

Now that Mike and the law firm’s secret is out of the bag and the remaining episodes are going to tackle the whole debacle, the question of what else is in store for “Suits” when it comes back with season 6 is in the open.

“I think it’s going to be exactly what the show needs this far in. Fans that have followed us this far are going to really be rewarded,” Adams quipped.
