'Street Fighter V' news: Tournament Edition 2 FightStick Chun-Li Edition now available for pre-order

Hardcore fighting gamers as well as those who want the nostalgic-arcade feel when playing a fighting game should welcome the new “Street Fighter V” Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2  Chun-Li Edition from Mad Catz.

The first version of the “Street Fighter V”-themed TE2 FightStick features Chun-Li on the game pad design. It uses premium Sanwa Denshi parts, the same high-quality materials used in Japanese arcade machines, and it features a classic Vewlix-style layout, complete with a durable joystick and eight Sanwa OBSF-30 action buttons, perfectly recreating the classic arcade feel of playing fighting games. It is also optimized to perform with very high accuracy and is made to withstand repeated use.

The Tournament Edition FightStick 2 also features an internal compartment storage within the device itself, perfect for extra tools and parts to come in handy just in case it will be needed. It comes with a small dual-tipped reversible screwdriver, too. Using the screwdriver, the top bezel can be removed so that users can replace the default Chun-Li artwork design with any other custom design without the need to totally disassemble the device or unwire-rewire any button at all.

The new TE2 FightStick is compatible with PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. While the accessory was made specifically to go with “Street Fighter V,” it also supports a wide range of fighting games across consoles:

  • “Ultra Street Fighter IV” (PS3, PS4)
  • “Mortal Kombat X” (PS3, PS4)
  • “Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN” (PS3, PS4)
  • “Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition” (PS4)
  • “Persona 4 Arena Ultimax” (PS3)
  • “Divekick” (PS4)
  • “BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma” (PS3)
  • “BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND” (PS3, PS4)
  • “Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3” (PS3)
  • “Dead or Alive 5: Last Round” (PS3, PS4)
  • “Skullgirls” (PS4)
  • “The King of Fighters XIII” (PS3)

The Mad Catz “Street Fighter V” Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition 2  Chun-Li Edition is now available for pre-order for a price of $229, and it comes with a free metal-clad Shoulder Strap for easier handling and a 9.8-foot cable. It will be released Holiday 2015.
