Pet food recall July 2015: Stella & Chewy recalls product over deadly bacteria fears

Fans who might be wondering what happened after the destruction of the second Death Star and the death of Darth Vader and the Emperor, may find their answers in Kabam’s new game, “Star Wars: Uprising,” which will have the storyline set between the time after “Return of the Jedi” and before the upcoming new movie, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

According to Yahoo News, the role-playing game built for mobile devices will take place at Anoat Sector which houses some main locations first seen in the movie, “The Empire Strikes Back,” such as Hoath and Bespin’s Cloud City. The player can choose between some familiar characters including bounty hunter, smuggler, rebel guerilla, diplomat and gambler as a part of the rebellion to infiltrate one of the Empire’s last standing strongholds. An interview with Senior Vice President of Kabam Aaron Loeb revealed that the game will introduce new locations and characters that will become part of the new Star Wars canon.

Mashable reports that the “real appeal” of Uprising is its promise to give fans their first good look of the new movie. The team behind the game includes Daniel Erikson and Danny Keller who both worked previously in Star Wars franchise, “The Old Republic” and “Clone Wars” animated series, respectively. It could also explain how the new Stormtroopers come into being after the fall of the empire, the report shared.

Directed by J.J Abrams and produced by Kathleen Kennedy, the new movie is set to be released on December 18. It will star the original characters of Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, three decades after fans last saw them, as well as new young comers including Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson and Max von Sydow, Vanity Fair reports.
