'Star Wars Rebels' season 3 spoilers: screening schedule for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016

After confirmation that the small screen realm of the “Star Wars” universe, “Star Wars Rebels,” will take part in this year’s Star Wars Celebration Europe, fans of the animated series have been curious as to what it will bring to the table this time around. It turns out to be that the upcoming season of the show will have an early screening, on top of the panel featuring surprise guests and “Star Wars Rebels” co-creator Dave Filoni.

Aside from the previously released teasers, the schedule of when the sneak peek will happen has finally been revealed. On the second day of Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016, which would be on July 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. local time, fans will have the opportunity to find out what happens next, after the cliffhanger from the season 2 finale of the animated show. This may include Kanan’s reaction to being newly blinded, Ezra’s supposed path towards the dark side, and maybe even Ahsoka Tano’s ultimate fate after her duel with Darth Vader.

The official announcement regarding the “Star Wars Rebels” season 3 preview is as follows:

“Still recovering from the epic ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Season Two finale? Feel like you have more questions than answers about what the future holds for the crew of the ‘Ghost?’ Fear not! ‘Star Wars Rebels’ executive producer and supervising director Dave Filoni will be joined by special guests to share highly-guarded sneak peeks at what’s to come in ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Season Three, including a screening of the first two episodes!”

On top of the first look at the new season, Filoni has also teased about a very important announcement that will have a significant impact on the show. Some are speculating that a pivotal Expanded Universe character will be joining the canon via the Disney series. And while there are hundreds of game-changers that have yet to make the jump, one of the most notable out of the bunch is tactical specialist Grand Admiral Thrawn, or even Luke’s supposed love interest. Mara Jade.

“Star Wars Rebels” will not only be the one who will be bringing goodies for fans. The first film in the upcoming “Star Wars” anthology, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” will also have a panel, and fresh information about the yet to be titled “Star Wars: Episode VIII” film has also been teased.

Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 will be held at the ExCeL London Celebration Centre from July 15 to 17. For further details, check the official website here.
