'Star Wars Rebels' season 3 air date, spoilers: Sabine and Ezra discover Imperial Mandalorians have taken over base

Fans have to wait a little longer for the brand-new installment of Disney XD’s “Star Wars Rebels” as the hit animated show is taking a two-week hiatus from the small screen.

According to ComingSoon.net, the upcoming episode titled “Imperial Super Commandos” will air on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8:30 p.m. Presumably, to help curb the anticipation of viewers, Disney and Lucasfilm have released a teaser clip of the installment featuring the Imperial Mandalorians.

In the preview, Saxon says, “Sabine Red… Well, I know you and all about how you joined the Phoenix Squadron. I also know that you’re mother is looking for you.”

Sabine then tells Ezra, “Don’t believe him.”

The masked character then continues his taunting. “Sabine never told you about her family? Well, she lies as well as you, boy. Her own mother stands with me at the Empire now,” he claims.

Sabine then retorts, “I doubt you gave her much choice, traitor.”

However, the antagonist tells her that her mother “came round herself after you abandoned the Imperial Academy. Your cowardice shamed your family’s name and standing. Had you honored your commitment, you could be wearing this armor now.”

The rebel then quips, “Sorry Saxon, I like a little more color.”

Unabashed by her reply, Saxon states, “You think yourself as a loyalist? The Empire will make Mandalore stronger than ever before… Out of respect for your family, I’ll give you a choice. Give me Fenn Rau and swear allegiance or you and your friend die.”

It can be recalled that despite the rebels strengthening their fleet by getting more resources and people against the Empire, their efforts are being thwarted continuously. The opposing group is now being led by the analytical Grand Admiral Thrawn who is known for his strategic, tactical and cultural insights.

In the current season, Sabine and Ezra began a mission to directly attack the Empire. However, when they lost contact with the Protectors of Concord Dawn, they found out that the base had been taken over by Mandalorians. It remains to be seen if they will be successful in their quest.
