The wait for the lineup of the highly anticipated Spring Awakening music festival is over, as the artists joining the event have been announced recently.

According to Billboard, some of the big names joining the festival’s fifth anniversary are The Chainsmokers, deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Jamie XX, and Dillon Francis among others. The pre-sale tickets for the general admission to the entire 3-day happening are said to be already sold out but general, final, and VIP wristbands are still up for grabs along with a layaway option for three payments.

The official website also revealed that for the very first time in the event’s history, there will be five stages including two main stages for a wide array of over 100 acts across the electronic music spectrum.

The first main stage called DJ Stage will host performances from aforementioned artists with the addition of Above & Beyond, Carnage, Nicky Romero, DVBBS and Dash Berlin. Meanwhile, the second main stage dubbed Electronic Stage will have Zeds Dead, RL Grime, Flying Lotus, Crystal Castles, Flux Pavilion, Gramatik, Gesaffelstein, A-trak, and Madeon.

Moreover, the remaining three stages will be called Bass Kitchen, Body Language, and Trance Arena that will feature a variety of music, brands, and visual displays for the attendees. Record label Dirtybird, publication DJ Mag, and Pete Tong will take part as stage curators as they host different acts from all productions.

When it comes to the location, after reportedly experiencing some scheduling conflicts with the original venue in Jackson Park, Spring Awakening has been moved to the fields of Addams/Medill Park located near West Side Community of Chicago.

To make the experience more enjoyable, the visitors may access easy public transportation options either by CTA Pink Line or Blue Line trains. The place is also accessible from Ashland, Roosevelt and 18th St. CTA buses.
