Players of “Pokemon Sun and Moon” will get a chance to enjoy a special Pokemon beginning next week.

According to a report by Gamespot, gamers can download a special Midnight Form Lycanroc starting May 15 at GameStop. The Rock-type Pokemon will be available until June 5.

The monster offers players a unique Hidden Ability called No Guard. This feature makes sure that every move executed during battle hits the target. Moreover, the monster also comes with a Life Orb. This item increases its damage output with only a minor decrease in its health for every turn.

In addition, the special Lycanroc can also pull off a number of moves. It can do Fire Fang, Sucker Punch, Stone Edge, and Swords of Dance, according to TheTech52.

To download the monster, players need to select the Mystery Gift option found on the menu screen. Then, they should choose to receive their gift using a code. After typing in the code, players can claim their new Lycanroc from the deliveryman found in any Pokemon Center.

Meanwhile, players of the free-to-play game, “Pokemon Shuffle,” for 3DS can now catch some monsters from the “Sun and Moon” game. The update provides access to three monsters from the Alola region. These Pokemon are Litten, Popplio, and Rowlett. Litten will only be available until May 9 while Popplio will become available on the said date until May 23. Rowlett, on the other hand, can be used starting May 23 until June 6.

In addition, the Pokemon Company also announced that players who will log in to “Pokemon Shuffle” for the entire month of May will receive the Alolan Vulpix.

The “Pokemon” franchise is off to a great start, with several events and features lined up for the fans until the end of the year. Its mobile game iteration, “Pokemon GO,” has reaped success. The mobile game has over 65 million active users since its official release last year, according to game developer Niantic.
