The new Sony Xperia X and the Xperia XA are now available for pre-order for users in the U.K as revealed by a listing of an online retailer.
Online retailer Mobile Fun is currently the only retailer in the U.K. offering the new Sony Xperia X and the Xperia XA smartphones for pre-order. The Xperia X 32 GB VariantSIM-free and unlockedcan be pre-ordered for a price of $734.99. On the other hand, the Xperia XA 16 GB variantalso SIM-free and unlockedis up for a price of $345.99.
The Xperia X smartphone runs under a Snapdragon 650 chipset, and sports a display size of 5 inches with 1080 x 1920 pixels Full HD resolution. It packs 3 GB worth of RAM, and it comes with 32 GB worth of built-in internal storage capacity, expandable via an external microSD storage. It sports a 23-megapixel main rear camera, coupled with a 13-megapixel front snapper. It boots on Android Marshmallow 6.0, and is powered by a 2,620 mAh battery.
The Xperia XA, on the other hand, also sports the same display size and Android Marshmallow 6.0. It has a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels HD and runs under a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 chipset. It packs 2 GB worth of RAM along with 16 GB worth of built-in internal storage capacity, which is also expandable via microSD card.
The new Sony Xperia X series of smartphones was launched by Sony Mobile during the recently held Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.
