The first clip for the eighth season of the TLC’s hit reality series “Sister Wives” is here, featuring the continuing drama within the polygamous Brown family as a result of the members’ actions in the previous installment.
In the preview exclusively shared by People, it appears that Kody and his four wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn are still reeling from the effects of the catfishing scandal. The five try to work past their differences as they give their best to co-parent their combined 18 children.
“My goal is to keep our family together. My goal is to work these things out,” Kody says to them. Meanwhile, Meri can be heard saying, “I feel like I am just doing my life by myself.”
It can be recalled that the Meri admitted last October to being tricked into having an online relationship with a woman.
Aside from the said issue, their children also celebrate some milestones in their lives. Janelle’s daughter Madison excitedly states, “The wedding is three weeks away and I hope I’m ready,” as they have a bachelorette party for her upcoming nuptial to Caleb.
Meanwhile, Christine’s daughter Mykelti reveals that she is engaged to Tony. However, both her father and mother are not happy with the news as she has only known her boyfriend for five months.
“It will be a difficult decision for me, only two months after Madison’s wedding,” Kody tells her.
The clip ends with Kody discussing things with daughter Mariah in which he claims that he believes he might be a catalyst in what happened to Meri and her decision to hide her online relationship.
Talking to the camera, he muses, “You know, this might be one of those conversations, I think, was a mistake to be filmed.
Season 8 of “Sister Wives” is slated to premiere on Nov. 27 at 8 p.m. ET.
