It looks all is well in the Brown family, at least with Kody and Meri who celebrated their wedding anniversary weeks before “Sister Wives” season 7 debuts.
Meri posted a barrage of photos from their celebration on her official Twitter account starting with a message to Kody that read, “Happy anniversary @realkodybrown So much life, so many experiences, so many memories! #26Years.” The couple technically ended their legal marriage back in 2014 to give Kody the leeway to marry his fourth wife, Robyn, and adopt her kids. However, because of the polygamous setup of the Brown family, the couple remains to be “spiritually married” and living together hence the need for the celebration.
The couple took their anniversary commemoration to more than just a day and hopped on a road trip over the weekend with some of the family’s children including their own daughter, Mariah. It can be remembered that in the first trailer for their reality show’s return, Mariah was seen being repulsive of her mom after her scandal broke out.
“My mom and I aren’t on super great terms right now. I’m kind of sensing that Mom wants to go and ask me these deep questions and I can’t handle it,” she was quoted in saying. Back in season 6, Meri admitted into being in an emotional relationship with someone she met online only to find out that she has been catfished. As previously reported, the show is also purportedly opening the season with the family dealing with the aftermath of Meri’s infidelity.
Aside from Meri’s scandal, the three other wives are reportedly battling problems of their own regarding their respective relationships with Kody. Recently, Robyn’s former friend divulged some rumors about the Browns behind closed doors to the point that she was even propositioned by Kody to be his fifth wife. On top of it all, TLC is also reportedly tinkering on the possibility of pulling the plug on “Sister Wives” after its upcoming run.
The reality show will debut its seventh season on May 8, 8 P.M. EST.
